NEWS ABOUT ONCE UPON A TIME!

Hello!!
I just found this article on tvguide.com and I thought I'd share it with you!
It's about Once Upon A Time: the two producers Horowitz and Kitsis were asked a few questions and they could answer only "Yes", "No", or "Can't answer".
There are some interesting things in here!

Take a look (I underlined just the part of the article with their answers, but you can read it entirely here ) and if you like read my comments in brackets too :)

Was Cora (Barbara Hershey) always this evil?
Adam Horowitz:
No.

Will Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) find any allies in Storybrooke?
Edward Kitsis:
Yes. (I wonder who that will be!!!)

Will Hook try to take out his anger with Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) on Belle (Emilie De Ravin)?
Horowitz:
Maybe.
Kitsis: Sounds like a good plan. (This would be interesting)

Will Neal (Michael Raymond-James) make his way to Storybrooke this season?
Kitsis and Horowitz:
Yes. (Yes!!)

Will we see more of Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Aurora's (Sarah Bolger) quest to free Phillip (Julian Morris) soon?
Kitsis:
Maybe.
Horowitz: You will see Phillip again. (Not liking this)

Will more outsiders come across Storybrooke now that the spell has been broken?
Kitsis and Horowitz: Maybe!

Will anyone be able to successfully leave Storybrooke?
Kitsis and Horowitz: Maybe! (I hope this is Henry ahah)

After everything that's happened to her, will Belle seek help from Dr. Hopper (Raphael Sbarge)?
Kitsis:
Yes... oddly. Actually, Dr. Hopper will seek help from her.
Is there a special significance to the golden chalice that Rumplestiltskin replaced with the chipped cup?
Horowitz: How he got that chalice is perhaps a story for another time, but the significance is his prized possession is being replaced by another prized possession, which is the chipped cup. (Did I miss something?)

Will we learn more about the fairy tale book this season?
Kitsis: Maybe.

Will we see more of Wonderland, specifically Alice, this season?
Horowitz: We'll give you a straight-up no. (Luckily)

Is Henry a fairy tale character?
Horowitz and Kitsis: No.

Will we see Peter Pan this season?
Kitsis: No. (Too bad!!I was hoping for that)

Will we see August (Eion Bailey) return to Storybrooke before the end of Season 2?
Kitsis: Maybe. We hope so. (Yes please!!)

Will Emma (Jennifer Morrison) get more bonding time with her dad, Prince Charming (Josh Dallas)?
Horowitz: Yes. (Boring)

Will Regina (Lana Parrilla) find love?
Horowitz: She'll be looking. (I truly hope so for her!!)

Will we see more of Regina's evil side?
Horowitz: Maybe. (That would be great)

Will there be another flashback into Emma's past?
Kitsis: Maybe, you never know.
 (Curious)

So what do you think? Are you curious to see Once Upon A Time's new episodes? I am!! :)

This is all for today!!Thanks for listening and stay tuned.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

Hello!!
As everyone knows Christmas is approaching fast: lights everywhere, people buying presents, grandmothers preparing amazing food and a festive atmosphere surrounds everything.
If there is something I love about Christmas it's the songs!!
I would listen to those beautiful songs during the entire year, but I would seem crazy..so I have to take advantage of these days!!
Christmas songs make me super happy and full of joy..they make me want to smile and embrace everyone :)

So here is a selection of my favourite ones..feel free to give me suggestions!!
I know there are many versions of each song,I'm just putting the ones I like the most..

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, sung by Michael Bublé ;

Have yourself a merry little Christmas, sung by Frank Sinatra ;

Winter Wonderland, sung by Tony Bennet ;

Santa Claus is coming to town, sung by Andrea Bocelli ;

Let it snow, sung by Dean Martin ;

Silent Night, sung by Micheal Bublè ;

All I want for Christmas is you, sung by Mariah Carey ;

Last Christmas, sung by Wham!

Ok, here are just some..I might add others in the next days!!
Did you like them? What are your favourite?

TV COMMERCIALS + A BIT OF 30 ROCK (WHAT, AGAIN??YES)

Hello!!!

So it seems that 30 Rock is wrapping up production in these days..and I read that today they will be shooting at JFK airport!!What does that mean??I'm curious!
Also, Julianne Moore is supposed to take part in the finale...I'm not sure what I think of that.
Please 10th of January arrive soon :)

Today I just wanted to show you two nice perfume commercials I saw on TV.
I don't usually like them, because they all seem to be about naked women (sorry, but it's kinda true!), but I found these two to be very cute and well made.

The first one is literally a short film, called "L'invitation au Voyage" and the perfume is Louis Vuitton's.
It's a misterious commercial, it wants to tell a story and everyone can read whatever he or she prefers in it.
I personally think the girl is looking for something (that is supposed to be in the suitcase) and at the same she is escaping from the guy who is following her (maybe he's after the same thing she is).
In the end she succeds, but we don't know what the letter says: was that really what she wanted to find?
But apart from the actual meaning, I find the location amazing!Oh Paris, how beautiful are you?The colours, the streets, the Louvre..it's all very enchanting.

The second one is less misterious and more Christmassy (if that's a word): it's called "La Petite Robe Noire" and it's Guerlain's.
I think this one is super cute and funny! It is actually the Christmas version of another commercial of the same brand that runs during the year.
Given the fact that the protagonist is the "petite robe noire", this time she is walking around Paris (again!) and then skating on ice while receiving very high scores :)
How lovely is it?And I love the song!

Here is the usual version of the commercial: classy as the previous one!
As you can see she is not skating, but she is having fun anyway on the Arc de Triomphe :)

To me the little black dress is always fascinating, maybe because my favourite film of all time is Breakfast at Tiffany's :)

What do you think? Did you like them?

Ok that is all for today!
Thank you for listening and stay tuned!!

FILMS!

Hello everyone!
So here comes the Christmas break and with it many shows I'm currently watching will come back only in January.
In the meantime I'm desperate to find something else to watch. I might go for Smash, which should summarize two of the things I like the most, TV shows and musical theatre... I'll keep you updated.

I had already spoken about my curiosity towards the film Les Miserables, but that's not the only one I'm patiently waiting for.
Here are some others:

Anna Karenina, directed by Joe Wright; with Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor - Johnson.

Oz: the Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi; with James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, directed by Peter Jackson; with Martin Freeman, Ian McKellan and Richard Armitage.

The Great Gatsby, directed by Baz Luhrman; with Leonardo di Caprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.

So here are some of the films I can't wait to watch!!
What about you?Do you have any upcoming film to suggest?

Thank you for listening and stay tuned!

ONCE UPON A TIME: FOCUS ON 2X09 (+ OTHER THINGS)

First of all, so it seems this Jack/Liz thing really had an effect me, or at least this is what I'm thinking after having spent three days watching videos on YouTube and reading fan fictions (in my free time,of course..ahah!):I need a cure!
And to think I didn't care about them together until Liz got married..so I guess I was just assuming it was going to happen some day?
I need to share this obsession with someone else (so please, tell me how you cope with that) and I'm dying to know how the show will end!

Anyway, today I'd like to talk about Once Upon A Time. On Sunday the mid-season finale of season 2 aired,so now we've got to wait until January to know what it's going to happen.
This episode was a surprise on some levels, and just a retelling of things I already knew on others.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Speaking about "things that we already knew", I think no one was actually surprised to find out that Cora is the Queen on Hearts in Wonderland: starting from her name,we've always been told she was an evil witch that even Regina was afraid of,so I was kind of expecting that.

It was interesting to see her becoming allies with Hook, altough he's starting to annoy me because I don't understand whose side is on. It seems quite clear that he wants revenge and he's ready to accept "help" from anyone who's going to give it to him.
I loved his interaction with Regina though!!I can't help but loving everything she does,so even this "new" plan she created with Hook was ok for me..until I found out he was still on Cora's side!

On the "surprise" side,I wasn't expecting to see Emma and Mary Margareth coming back to Storybrooke so soon. I thought they were going to stay in the other world longer, especially because David had just fallen asleep and they were still far away from resolving their problems.
However it was not so, and they were able to find magic in Rumple's cell (I was actually screaming to my laptop's screen "it's the ink he used for the paper!!!" for the entire episode,so in the end they got it too :) ), come back to where Cora and Hook were, fight them and open the portal.

This whole thing was a bit too fast in my opinion and I didn't like several things: first of all, when Snow frees the other from the cell and Aurora realizes she can't go with them because Cora is controlling her heart, I thought it was incredibly selfish for Snow to just say "oh ok,good luck" and go away. She didn't even try to find a way to solve the problem or at least to show a bit of comprehension. I've always found Snow particularly selfish when it's not about her own family, and this scene confirmed my feelings.

Then, the heart thing. Ok, they defeat Cora and Hook just give them Aurora's heart back, as if nothing happened??Yes,he's on his own side and he can decide whatever he wants but..he seems like he's not entirely sure of what he's doing.
And then,as I said before, Snow and Emma let Mulan go back to Aurora and basically abandon them at their own faith (in fact, they decide to go and "free" Philip from the monster).

Meanwhile in Storybrooke, Regina and Gold team up to fight against Cora: I was totally on board with this,I love the two of them and I just wanted to see them triumph.
However Henry, who's always very good at making Regina feel guilty, basically obliged her to do what he wanted (I still don't get why Regina cares so much about Henry..I personally can't stand him and I wish he'd go away with the entire Charming family - but then I assume the story would be over), so that Emma and Mary Margareth could come back. End of story, everyone's happy, Snow wakes David up with her true love kiss and they just go away, without even asking Regina to go with them?????

Sure they said thank you,but that was it. Oh God I can't stand them!!I hated the final scene when they were all walking together super happy..Emma is definitely Snow's daughter, as selfish as her mother!I know Regina is supposed to be the Evil Queen, but I think she's so much more!!!!!She's grown a lot in this first part of the second season, and she's got so many traits of her personality that make her special..so I just wish she could be happy!

This is why I was glad to see Cora and Hook arriving to Storybrooke..at least they will bring some action and they will make life harder for the "happy family".
Wow that sounded evil :)

So, in conclusion, I liked this first half and I can't wait to know what will happen in the second part.
I appreciated the choices the writers made, some more than others, and I loved the fact that they introduced new characters and new stories..this is what makes OUAT great,in my opinion.

The character I love the most is still Regina, followed by Gold and Jefferson (where is he by the way?).

I like Hook and Cora, a little less Aurora and Mulan (they are a bit useless).

I can't stand the Charming family (as someone may have guessed from what I wrote :P ), but I hope they will bring back Neal (is he Rumple's son,by the way?I think he is).
And bring August back too!!

Ok this is it for today..what do you think?
Did you like episode 2x09??I'd like to hear your thoughts!!

Thanks for listening and stay tuned!

30 ROCK: SOME NEWS ABOUT LIZ!

Hello!!!!

Have you seen the last episode of 30 Rock??

SPOILER ALERT!!!

So,Liz finally got married with Criss..well,that surprised me!

I have never fully understood Liz's personality: on the one hand I always thought she was a strong woman,a feminist, a bit nerdy maybe but also very intelligent and sarcastic; after all, she is responsible of that crazy crew at TGS,so basically she has to direct everything by herself. So according to this description, she always seemed the kind of woman who was never going to marry.

However, on the other hand, she also seemed to care about love and happiness:she had several boyfriends, some of them very cute (Floyd and Carol), other not (Dennis!).
Criss is nice,he seems to understand her and on some levels he is the perfect husband for Liz,but I'm not completely sure I like the fact that they got married (I'm not even sure I like him very much, in the long "distance" I mean).

I think I always had difficulties in understanding her because of her relationship with Jack.
It was clear from the beginning that Jack was just going to be her mentor, but even so they became great friends, and sometimes they were each one the only help and support for the other. I guess that this kind of "platonic love" always misled me because, being a TV series lover as I am, I have probably always thought that they were going to end up together. And even if they never made us think anything different, I think everyone at a certain point had believed that.

That is why I don't know what to think about this wedding.
Did it definitely remove any hope to see Liz and Jack together?Well yes, but deep down I knew that this was not going to happen (Tina Fey herself always denied that, and even on a "chemistry" level there was never anything "substantial").
Having said that,I was not excited when the wedding happened.

And that makes me a bit angry, because I care about Liz and I love 30 Rock; I'm sad that this is the last season, and I would love it go on for ever..
So what is wrong? Is it me or did you think the same??

I think I might watch it again, just to verify if I miss something (I was a bit sleepy when I watched it).

Anyway, here is a funny video from last season: I think this scene was added for all the "hopeless" people like me who were (and still are) waiting for "Liz&Jack" :)

LOVE THEM BOTH!! <3

Thank you for listening!

UPDATE:I was reading around on the Internet and I found that I'm not the only one a bit sad because this ship seems to be over..On Tumblr I read a suggestion about the end of the episode, when Liz and Jack kiss in front of funeral flowers:is it the writers signifying the end of it all?Or does it mean that Jack is losing the one he loves?I don't know but I'm sad :(
